Dish Motor / HH Mount / DiSEqC1.2 Positioner / DiSEqC
Positioner / DiSEqC Motor / Satellite Motor
What is a dish
motor?
A satellite
dish motor or dish motor, also known as an HH mount or DiSEqC motor is the
best way to get signal from multiple satellites and pick up free TV
stations. Using a
DiSEqC1.2
satellite receiver you control the motor to turn east and west.
The dish motor will account for elevation and skew/polarization as well.
HH stands for Horizon to Horizon, meaning the motor will turn your dish
from 1 horizon (east or west) to another horizon. This is also
called an H2H mount.
What type of satellite dish antenna should I use with my
satellite dish mover? You can get away with using a regular
75cm or 76cm dish,
but if you are going to install a motor, our recommendation is to go
ahead with a slightly larger satellite dish.
A 90cm dish or 36" dish antenna will probably suit your need
perfectly. It may cost a little bit too much to ship one of our
90cm dishes, but trust us, you are getting a high quality, commercial
grade satellite antenna with a motor.
Below are just a partial list of satellites that you may
be able to pick up with a HH Satellite Motor:
