C or Ku?
Do you know how to tell if a channel is broadcasted
on C band or Ku band? Well, it's very
simple. When you look at the satellite chart, take a look at the
downlink frequency. If it's a 4 digit frequency, it's broadcasted
on C band. Therefore, you will need at least a 6 foot satellite
dish, along with a C band LNB or LNBF. If it's a 5 digit
frequency, then it's being broadcasted in Ku. You will need to get
at least a 60cm dish to be able to pick up Ku satellites, even though a
76cm is very highly recommended.
