The WS7630 is a high quality dish made in
Portugal. The back brackets all resemble the Winegard dish.
The specs are slightly better than the winegard. I've had lots of
people like this over the Winegard. I still have people who love the
Winegard. These 2 dishes are very comparable.

The Winegard dish is made in the United States.
Winegard is the same company that make all of the DISH Network and DirecTV
dishes. You may visit Winegard at www.winegard.com.
Winegard dishes are easy to setup. All you need is
a 7/16 and a 1/2 size wrench. You need to screw 5 knots and bolts
and you are ready to find your signal.
Easy to read elevation bracket, makes it even easier for
the average person to install. How else would you try to install the
dish with our knowing what your elevation is
------------------------->>>

No wonder all professional satellite installers like the
Winegard dish better.
Lets talk about the installation of the universal mount
to the roof. The bigger the universal mount, the better and the more
stable the satellite dish.

The top mount is a Winegard mount, and the
bottom one is
most commonly used for Fortec Star, and Gemsat (import dishes)
Which one would you trust on the top of your roof?
Now that we have covered that, lets talk about satellite
motors. The Winegard dish fits perfectly on the SG-2100 satellite
motor (the most reliable positioner on the market) Take a look!!

The
Gemsat or the Azure Shine dish is made by Azure Shine in Taiwan. It
uses metric wrench. I bought a few of this dish, but none of my
customers or satellite installers liked it. It needs a better
universal mount. The mount that comes with it is very insufficient
for the size of the dish. I have had lots of complaint about the
dish not being stable and moving when placed on top of a roof. You
can visit Azure Shine at www.azureshine.com.
I
personally had the chance to try out this dish against 3 other dishes, the
Fortec Star dish, a Winegard dish and a reject dish that was rejected by a
company which I can't name in Mexico. All other dishes played a
higher signal here are the results on a BEC DBS-2000, and a ASC-321 single
LNBF.
1.
Gemsat - 71/64
2.
Fortec Star - 72/69
3.
Winegard - 74/76
4.
"Reject" - 72/74
You
decide which signal you would rather have on your satellite
receiver. I like the highest possible signal, so when it gets cloudy
or rains, the chances of my signal going out is much less.
Now
here is a question I sometimes ask myself. How would you install the
SG-2100 with out bending the top of the back
bracket? Take a look!

Another
question that comes to mind is how are you suppose to tighten the dish,
and make sure that when wind blows it does not move the dish? Here
take a look!

Now
that you know the difference, make a smart decision. |
